I went to a killteam tournament last Saturday. I won third place and second place in the paint contest.
My only fully painted minis for 40k were flesh hounds and bloodletters, so the competition was quite a challenge.
I lost one match and won four. I was lucky to play against some lists which were vulnerable to close combat and/or some players new to the game, else I would have never made it to third place.
The relentless vicious assault of the uber-fast hounds combined with the carnage brought on by the bloodletters made games ver brutal and more enjoyable than I thought.
