This is the cultist champion for my covent of the Changing Dawn.
I started from an Alarielle the Radiant model and demonized her, in the theme of Tzeentch...
There is still a lot of work to do...
More to come.
I cut off the toes and glued them back on at an angle to fit the curvature of the disk. He now fits onto it, ready to swoop around the battlefield....
The next step is to setup the batterie for the lights under the disk and the magnet to hold the disk onto the base.
I managed to get the captain's body done, although I need to patch the ankles better and might add purity seals on the legs.
The throne's base is pretty done. Only thing missing are the arms and the baroque ornaments. This is the next step.
The captain will get his cape and arms when the throne is fully finished so everything fits perfectly.
This isnt 40k, but this is my blog, I do whatever I want.
I will soon join a Pathfinder game and I'm sculpting my own miniature
It will be a catfolk assassin. With big boots and a rapier. But without the feathered hat. A hooded cloak will be more appropriate.
So far I only have one boot sculpted. The other will soon follow.
I managed to fully hide the cables coming out of the abdomen and into the leg.
I had to sculpt more butt muscles to do so.
I also added spikes (only the flesh part around it is there, the spikes will be added when it's cured) on the back of the legs to hide the entry of the cables into the leg.
More pics in the commissioned work section.
This project I'm doing for a friend has been sitting on a shelf for over a year.
Time to stop choking and finish it off.
It's a dead Blood Angel captain sitting on a throne for use as a relic.
It's still at an early stage. The marine as been partly assembled but not patched and the throne doesn't have arms nor any ornaments.
